A Majlis Berbuka Puasa was held by Kumpulan Mahaderas in Riverview Hotel Kota Bharu in appreciation of
its staffs for the hard work and loyalty to the group. The event was attended by
all the staffs in Kumpulan Mahaderas, including guests from the Veterinary
Services Department.

Ladang Ternakan Maha Deras Sdn Bhd was visited by Agro Journal, a documentary
program from the prime TV station RTM1. Both the cattle rearing or feedlot process and the processing of serunding (beef floss) were documented for the upcoming TV program.

Serunding Mahaderas was in the spotlight when Prime Minister Dato' Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi tasted our delicious serunding (beef floss) during the Perkampungan Hadhari
held recently in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. The highlight was also included in the
TV3 News.

En Zamzuree Zakaria was awarded "Usahawan Penternak Jaya 2007" in the recent celebration of Hari Peladang, Penternak dan Nelayan Negeri Kelantan. The award was presented by the Menteri Besar
himself, YAB Tuan Guru Dato' Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat during the auspicious ceremony.

Ladang Ternakan Maha Deras Sdn Bhd is in the midst of building another two new
feedlot cattle sheds to increase its feedlot cattle production capacity. One of
the feedlot cattle shed has already been completed (picture shown below) while
another one to be located adjacent to it is expected to be completed very soon.

Profit Presentation Ceremony for Integrated Feedlot Cattle
Farming between Lembaga Tembakau Negara (National Tobacco Board) - Mahaderas Sdn
Bhd by Y.B. Datuk Peter Chin Fah Kui, Minister in the Ministry of Plantation
Industries and Commodities. The ceremony was held at Kg Jelor, Pasir Puteh,
Kelantan.
